And, if you have children and are thinking about letting them play, think again. I've been a member for 8 years and throughout it all I have had so many unpleasant run-ins with the staff/support team. I mean, can someone tell me what the issue is with that? I was giving back to the community because I decided I didn't want so many items. I was just banned for donating my items to other players. Given that it is a virtual game for KIDS, nobody should be taking such a site so seriously. The site's rules often don't make much sense and the team cracks down too hard on things that are really not important.
Marapets has a horrible staff/support team. I may actually be thinking of making my OWN website! Do NOT let your kids go on this website, do NOT go on this website, and do NOT waste your time and money on this game! You got it? Be happy you even have the players you have. So I suggest you be nice to your players. Maybe that 50$ can go to NeoPets? I can easily put BAD reviews and make big complaint videos like that other one that everyone got so upset about. Now, I am not trying to argue, but if I get chat banned ONE more time for a completely UNREASONABLE reason like this, I will contact people whom are my friends and have huge amounts of power in the reviews industry. I currently have 50$ in a jar labelled: Marapets AU savings. Now THIS punishment is completely absurd! A whole week just until I can use chat features again? Now, if this happens ONE more time for completely silly reasons like this, I am going to completely reconsider spending my money here. I wrote this support ticket: I was banned for asking a question and getting confused. I got CHAT BANNED for a whole entire WEEK for asking why a moderator was in my club chat, and i got BANNED for no reason! I was about to send a message, but then realized they might delete my account.

I played a while ago and let's just say, it was a bad experience, me and my sister both had an account, and funny enough I used this voodoo on a mods pet and I clicked another tab in the game and I was banned, it said "multiple accounts" I emailed them the following night asking to get unbanned and the replies kinda were rude, they also claimed I had other accounts that were giving me free stuff, I had some other random users giving me stuff for free out of kindness but never abused any multiple account thing, my sister and my account were banned I asked if ATLEAST if they were not gonna, believe me, they could just unban my sister but they seemed offended and it was a rude "NO" remember that voodoo thing, its funny because the same mods pet I used the power on, was the same mod that ended up banning me I'm pretty sure could be petty or just timing for when I was blamed either way I have had some bad experiences and was heartbroken to lose my account and hard work of hours put into such a crappy petty game! The website also has had basically no upgrades in 10 years. I have never abused the point system or even go on the newer account more than twice. This was around 12 years ago! I innocently just wanted to have pets and play for nostalgia. What? I never saw ANY rule listed there when I was a child. I then ended up randomly getting banned so I emailed to ask why, they were very rude in the email and said it was because I abused the multiple account rule as they don't allow trading to gain more points. Left it for a while and would come back occasionally to play. I then ended up remembering my old account and went back on in preference to the original account. Never had ever traded points or shared anything to my old account.

I joined at around 10 or 11 years old and have been playing on and off for years, I had forgotten my password at one point, being a kid, and made a new account.
Extremely rude staff, no idea how they can afford to continue running with the awful way they treat players.
